Ronnie O’Sullivans Mam and Dad ran a chain of sex shops in Soho, before the murder conviction

When Ronnie first came on the scene, and I heard that his old man was in jail for murder, I assumed at the time he was a rough Cockney saved by snooker. It turns out he had a very comfortable upbringing due to the said sex shop businesses that his parents had.

His dad also paid a young Ken Doherty to play snooker against Ronnie in said shed when Ronnie was about 12 and Doherty was 18 or 19 and making his way in London.
