When starting from running blocks the right leg should always be at the rear. Thatâs the fastest way out of the blocks no matter if youâre right or left legged. Itâs to do with brain reaction time apparently.

Your less dominant leg is usually stronger muscular wise.

Right sided jumpers usually jump (and will be trained/advised to jump) off left foot.
Close your eyes. Ask somebody to gently push you forward. The leg you move to catch yourself is the leg you should jump off. Try it with kids.
