Drinking is a Cod.
I canā€™t do it anymore.

Much better quality Claret on the mainland.

One whiskey is my limit now. I donā€™t know how @anon67715551 does it.

1 bottle?

Naw. One measure. I could drink it up to a few years ago and then BANG, the hangovers are just too bad.

I can still drink the good stuff alright but god knows whatā€™s in those bottles for ā‚¬20.

Like golf and lots of other pastimes - practise, practise and more practise.

You develop minor adjustments to your technique over time, 2 cubes or 3, correct measure of water, 6 glasses or just the 5ā€¦itā€™s a permanently evolving experience.

You are not wrong. I have found that whiskey is very much a drink you have to build up a tolerance for.

But once the tolerance is built up I find that there is little or no hangover off it, unless you are a complete sow.

I presume you drink it neat?

I was tipping away on a few last night, hadnt drank it since Christmasā€¦ three doubles - I dozed off for 10 minutes during the third one, I woke up with the glass, and contents, still in my hand and resting on my lap. Unrale.
