You can’t get intellectual property protection for a drink. A recipe is regarded as a set of facts.

A recipe for disaster ?

Potatoes flower because ultimately the flower will produce the true fruit of the plant not the underground tuber but a tomato like fruit. This fruit will contain seeds which in theory can be sown to grow new potato plant.
