Northernmost City.

What do you mean by Lower Alaska? Dinali/Mount McKinley is supposed to be fabulous and the wilderness/wildlife tours are amazing. Further south Juneau and Ketchikan are in the middle of amazing scenery but can be very wet. 2-3 weeks of peering out at heavy rain could get in on you.

Male black widows twerk at their female counterparts to get their attention to mate.

Would they not be better called black widowers?

Looking at some combination of Barrow, Nome, Denali, Anchorage, Seward and Anchor Point - not necessarily in that order!

As Fagan says itā€™s the northernmost city in USA and beyond it is Barrow Point - the northernmost point in US. The trip will be primarily a photographic/wildlife one however and there are some tundra specialities up there, as well as the possibility of Polar Bears in Summer.

I had toyed with a similar idea a few years back, in my case going to Dead Horse instead, because you can drive there from Fairbanks along the Dalton Highway. A nice handy drive.

Anyways, since then Iā€™ve had children so I wonā€™t be doing any of that shit until Iā€™m in my 50s.

There is apparently something wankers do with a pint of Guinness called ā€œsplitting the Gā€.

How can you exist almost completely on the internet and only find that out now :upside_down_face:

Ah Jaysus

If Limerick was in South America it would be situated in Tierra del Fuego.
Thatā€™s basically the tip of South America and is fairly south.

It was posted on here before about how skewed the world maps are in regard to the northern hemisphere being ā€˜prioritisedā€™ over the southern hemisphere.

People in hospital canā€™t vote.

I suppose she should have known there might be a clash and opted for a postal vote, so itā€™s hard to have pity. But most people in hospital donā€™t plan to be there so it seems a bit unfair. Is it addressed in other countries?

@Locke throw her the auld No.1 in lieuā€¦
