Things I learned today (Part 2)

It’s one hell of a spot for a couple of days craic

Myself and the missus were discussing future holiday spots and I start breaking me bollox laughing when she said Tennessee was far more popular than Vegas. Chat GPT soon softened my cough.

One word.

Nashville.

Nashville only gets half the numbers of Vegas. I imagine Memphis and other sights have bigger input

Memphis
Dollywood.

Knoxville - they have a world’s sphere

Nashville isn’t that big of a spot. One strip but what a strip.

We’ve a lot of drug experts on this forum

The in laws went down that direction a few years back,

Nashville
Memphis/Graceland

Probably forgot others. Ended up in New Orleans anyway.

They loved it needless to say.

Shithole

Nashville, Memphis, Natchez, New Orleans is a fairly well worn fly drive, tour bus route. Personally I’d like to visit the Stax Records site at East McLemore Avenue in Memphis. The rest of it I could take or leave.

I’m going to Graceland
Memphis Tennessee

Do you need to be into country music?

I’ve just had a vision of yourself and @Rintintin with a scatter of ā€˜locals’ in a camper van, cans, hats and banjos all goin’ to Graceland…… :banjo:

I’ve never been but I wouldn’t imagine so

Nope. Was there for an unplanned long weekend after a trade show. Was fucking magic and id merely a passing interest in country music to that point.
