Phil Jagielka is still playing. Has scored age 40 for Stoke this evening.

The fact that bands appeared on the comedy show the Young Ones meant that the show could be classified as light entertainment rather than situation comedy at a time when the BBC wasn’t funding any new sitcoms. Madness, Motörhead, the Damned and Dexys amongst other appeared on the show.
