Who?
The absolute vast majority do add sugar. They give it different names, but it’s sugar.
OJ has huge amounts of sugar in it. Stick to milk and water lad.

When it comes to the food industry… trust goes out the window.
Eat an orange instead. Take a some vitamin C supplements if you want a top up.
In fairness Kev, the non concentrate juices generally don’t add sugar.
If ye are looking for a decent orange juice from a supermarket Walshe’s is your man. Properly fresh, unlike Tropicana or Innocent etc.

Like what? If the carton says 100% OJ then what are you telling me they are adding? Any support for this?

They all add sugar.
Orange juice as we have become adjusted to doesn’t actually taste like orange juice at all. Squeeze 4 real oranges, you will notice it’s far more bitter.
They are telling you there is no “orange additives” which many used to put in.
Is there not a label?
The evil capitalists are fooling you Glas.

There’s also quite a variance depending what oranges you buy or where. But anyway, if a label says 100% orange juice then I reckon that’s what it is. I don’t think companies would get away with dumping a load of sugar in with it and passing it off. I generally have about 200ml OJ in my smoothie every morning.
Dastards!

What’s in the smoothies?
And you are a complete idiot to believe everything that’s on a label.
Fruit smoothies are a classic case of people taking perfectly logical ideas to the extreme where they are actually bad for you.
@glasagusban what is the benefit of the smoothie?
When you’re surgeon approaches you wearing a pair of white dunlop wellingtons and blood spattered across his gown…
This is not an abattoir you butcher.

I don’t believe companies are getting away with labelling things 100% whatever it is, if it’s not true. In general I think European regulation regarding this is quite effective.
At the moment, OJ, a carrot, frozen raspberries, frozen blueberries, oats, pumpkin seeds.

The benefits are: I like it, it’s fast, it fills me up, it’s probably good for me.

In what way?
It’s anti aging.
So you have no idea in other words
And your problem is?
