When they do go on holiday, they spend more time counting their pennies than enjoying themselves.
ageing air hostesses
Good call.
game over 2-1
Hubba Hubba
They have massive dicks though apparently. Not sure if that’s relevant.
Ageing air hostesses?

Ya, or understand what people’s issues are. Thinking a certain section of society is overpaid and are material driven is not the same as many who work hard and just want a break and experience a different culture.
You don’t experience much of a different culture on the average “city break”.
If you spend all of your time in Irish bars maybe
As the forum’s most outspoken critic against city breaks the French are spot on. Given they have Paris where else is going to be an improvement.
New York
London
Paris
Munich
Everybody talk about pop music
Also the only four cities you need to visit really.

Most cities are very similar, and there’s a limit to how much you can do or see in a two day or so break. Seeing sights and wandering around for two days does not equate to experiencing another culture IMO.
Edinburgh and Cape Town are the only two that really stand out for me, though I love the waterfront in nice. Cape Town whilst not a cultural experience has loads of good big things to do. Number four beach, the botanic gardens, the skeleton trail up table mountain, robbed island and the waterfront, the aquarium. All great and all cheap. Except for shopping in the waterfront.
Getting mugged was the nearest thing to a genuine cultural experience I had there :-)).

deary me, is this tard suggesting to the forum that visiting botantic gardens is a normal thing to do
Trust me, I’m not into shrubs or that stuff, but they are lovely. Great walk, well planned, interesting history and a beautiful outside cafe. They have an outdoor concert venue as well. I went twice last time I was in Cape Town

Eh, Rome?? Never been to Berlin. I wouldn’t recommend London or Paris to anyone. Madrid, Barca or a few of the smaller Spanish cities like Cadiz, Sevilla, Pamplona, Granada, are far better. Budapest, Florence, Prague, Dubrovnik, Athens.
Agree entirely Athens I wouldn’t rush to. Granada is great around the Alhambra. Seville is great for a mooch about. Didn’t make cordoba as its nickname of “the frying pan” put me off. Florence is lovely, as is Venice.
Bangkok,Rio, Buenos Aires… best city breaks by a mile.
