Maybe you don’t, but I certainly do.
When you were a vegan they couldn’t keep you away from them.
I thought Florence wasn’t great and Venice completely shit.
Best places I’ve been would be Budapest, Seville, Berlin, Barcelona, San Sebastián, for history, art and food (Budapest not so much food wise).
Italy is full of great places but I feel you need to avoid the common ones like above. Siena is one of the greatest towns in the world and I absolutely loved it, but it’s a nice journey from any airport.
Small French cities/towns like Toulouse and Perpignan are nice and if you had the language a great spot to live, but wouldn’t be great for young lads.
Prague, Marbella, Ibiza, Paris, Amsterdam are all pretty shit to be honest and full of dickheads
What would your definition of experiencing another culture be?

Amsterdam is a great spot, depends on what you are looking for from it though
That’s why you should stop wasting your money going to places just to say you went there and stay a bit longer. I’d nearly always go for 4-5 days at least.
Ya even though I was immature when there I still had interest in more than the weed and the party. I was over it after a day. Maybe it was just my mood, but I thought it was average enough.
Venice is a smelly shit hole
You must have felt right at home there.
You’d want to spend a bit of time there with locals as not just be passing through. Seeing tourist highlights is not experiencing culture. London doesn’t have culture, it has cunts.
Yeah I don’t really do that. Or if I go somewhere for just a few days I don’t then consider that I’ve “done” that place or experienced another culture.
The fact that women’s tennis has the same prize money as the men’s.
Ladies final over in 54 minutes. Jokeshop!

Sexist.
Realist.
True equality would see them get exactly 2/3rds of the money the men get.

Ah, only seeing this now, agree wholeheartedly.

They should make them play best of 5 sets like the men. At least we’d get an extra 27 minutes to perv at the fragrant Mme Bouchard.

Are they paid by weight or what? What’s the differential in ticket sales/viewing figures?
I’d say viewing figures are nil right now you gobdaw.
I disagree, learning about the history of a city, eating the food in its restaurants, visiting historical sites, visiting museums even attending football games is all part of experiencing the culture
thanks mate
