shay given in general
Its definitely not something I could argue with after this weekend mate. Unfortunately the state sponsored rehousing of a few problem citizens from Dublin to neighbouring villages hasn’t helped things in recent years.
Of course as luck would have it, my brother in laws place was robbed over the weekend. Himself and his wife were away for the night. Gardai blame locals rather than the tourists that invaded the town for the weekend. Sounds like they were druggies as they took a fair few bits of medication out of the place. Among the items robbed were the standard jewelry, passports, spare car keys, and the electric shower from the ensuite bathroom. They cut the power and took the shower clean off the wall, leaving the tank leaking into the bathroom, and subsequently through the floor / ceiling onto the sitting room floor. A fair hefty job to fix up I’d say.
A few local businesses were also targeted on Friday night by locals. It seems they thought it’d be a good idea to hit places when there was a crowd around the place.
what part of town is the brother in law living in @Mac ? obviously nothing too specific but is it one of the estates or is it on its own? which businesses got hit?
Up near the business park in one of the best estates in the town. 3-4 businesses on Esmonde St were hit on Friday night, both from the back lane way behind the shops.

church adjacent, no surprises there for having a stab at the likely perps.
any couple over the age of 16, holding hands, linking arms or generally acting the bollocks in public.
Was it just me or did it look like Given has put on some weight?

That is not the work of druggies. Druggies generally look for easy liftables. Taking showers of walls is not their usual mo.
Had never heard of showers been taken before. Would it be a common thing? They tried to rob a few bottles of spirits too but the dumb cunts threw it into the neighbours garden thinking it was down into a back lane.
Is it true they left the craft beer?
I’m not sure mate, what did you hear?
Most people take a shower every day, you smelly cunt.
Is a daily shower what causes your ass to sweat so much?
Shocking comeback. Get the fuck out of here.
What has you so hormonal today mate?
I’d a driving lesson earlier, pal. And it was preying on my mind all day.
His vagina.
He has been hormonal all week
Wrong? This is fucking appalling.
