Things That Are Wrong

The land grab of aboriginal land that just started in WA. Stealing land for fracking and uranium.

Basically a more long winded final solution. These people are Nazi’s.

Nicely put on to secondary news by the G20.

Lough Gur

I did a red sea research poll this evening over the phone. They asked very leading questions.
E.g. Are there any parties who, if they were to get into government, would make you fear for the irish economy?

that’s not a leading question. They have not led you towards any answer. Generally it is a yes or no answer if it is a leading question.

A leading question would be “Would you fear for the Irish economy if Sinn Fein got into government?”

Did you answer honestly - always wondered about people who answer polls and whether they are honest when answering

Both bruff and lough gur. The family was intermarried on Fitzgerald name. Jfk was a limerick roaster.

It is a leading question. ‘Get in’ suggests they are not in at the moment, leaving you with only two parties of sizeable representation, ff and sf. It also suggests future fear, a subtle reassurance that the current state of the economy is not deserving of fear.

Yes, i always answer honestly.
I was also asked who i think should lead a new party were it to be established. Wonder who may have paid for this poll?

Rorschach test. Interesting though that you picked up on that question. I expect that fear will be leveraged.

Who do you think paid for the poll?

Bandaid 30. Load of bollox.

I think I read recently, or heard on TV, that polls don’t have anywhere near the affect on voters that they traditional ly thought they had. Appearance of leaders, personal circumstances etc had a far bigger impact.

Do you have an info correlating that?

Social acceptance plus social learning suggests that opinion polls help form opinion. The wisdom of crowds effect is more important than being accepted but both plsy a part.

The stage in the election cycle probably has more relevance than anything.

I lasted about two watching Early read face down from a card.

Vincent Browne wasn’t born in Russia before the end of communism.

Bob Geldof and that band aid 30 muck, he’d want to go away and fuck off for himself the cunt.

He’s an utter, utter cunt of a man. Sir fucking Bob… England is a feeling, Scotland is a feeling, Ireland is a feeling, but great Britain is the greatest idea of the modern age… What a horrible bastard.

Makes me sick, on a par with Bono the fucking cunt is.

When I heard him say that to that crowd in Scotland , I made a vow to kick him in the face.
