Things That Are Wrong

Jaysus check out the shirt tie and suit combo on the chairman of Thurles Chamber of Commerce on Prime Time.

Not to mention the pink hanky.

He’s mentioned the vendetta against Lowry.

Why would you think so?

Very wrong indeed. What a sick country to be honest. There was an American guy from Amnesty on the radio early who spoke very well. He is obviously anti-death penalty in all circumstances but couldn’t really get his head around how the US can execute people even when there’s doubt. Too much pride to change their minds (even though some of the jury and one of the judges who convicted him have changed their minds) so they kill the guy. Evil.

Why would you think so?
[/quote]Because he committed a truly genius crime and was utterly unrepentant.

Google Doug Tracht while you’re at it.

Why would you think any possible act committed by those men would make me want them executed? The death penalty is murder. Murdering a prisoner is the mark of an animal. Lawrence Brewer’s murderers are no better than him.

Nice sweeping generalization there.

I expect you’ll be withdrawing from the NFL Fantasy League and the Pickem?

The NFL is the World Championships of gridiron. It so happens that the best players and teams are US-based so I’ll continue to support my beloved Jets and participate in various NFL competitions without lending my support to the nation that hosts the vast majority of the games.

There’s some great things about America. It’s just a pity it’s completely controlled by all the worst aspects of its society.

Some idiot audience member arguing for the death penalty “as a deterrent” on Question Time a second ago.

  • “Arthurs Day” and all the shite that comes with it.

  • Gobdaws from Tipperary thinking that this super casino was a sustainable idea

Ultimately African American judge Clarence Thomas sanctioned the death of Troy Davis.

No surprise there.

We have the worst beers in Europe.

Christ that’s some crowd.
Whatever your thoughts on the event you’ve got to hand it to Guinness, when it comes to marketing they are hard bet.

Small enough crowd around last night though by all accounts.

I used to be a cynical man; a cynical, cynical man. But then my Dad said something to me one day and it went “sure what harm if people are enjoying themseleves and minding their own business.” These retards in the photo seemed to be enjoying themselves so good luck to them and let them at it.

Looks like a big crowd in the photo?
Limerick was hopping last night apparently.

You’d usually get a Thursday night crowd drinking outside Kehoe’s but, in fairness, it wouldn’t tend to be as big as that.
