The Off the Ball lads were saying they did a great interview with Lar the other night. Hard to believe but they usually wouldn’t say that unless it was decent. Anyone hear it?
Lar cringes at his own naivety when he looks back 2 years to when he first entered the business world. He thought if he jsut opened the doors they would come in.
just heard a bit of it there, no different from any of lars passion filled interviews. didnt hear him slate babs as implied he would but he merely stated nickey and sheedy made him feel loved where others didnt.
The best bit is where he was discussing this years mauling to KK. Although he admits he can barely read or write there is clearly nothing wrong with his arithmetic as he claimed that even if he repeated his previous of feat of 3 goals against KK, (thats 9 points, he said), it still wouldn’t have been enough to bridge the 18 point gap.
It is a terrible cliche but Gerald Kean and Lisa Murphy really did bring a sort of gaiety to the nation amid all the doom and gloom of the recession. So for that at least we should be thanking them. Their unrestrained desire to go to every swish social gathering – be it in Marbella or Miami and invariably on a private jet – left many of us speechless. They were larger than life in their seemingly endless pursuit of pleasure and ostentatious happiness; and then telling us all about it.
