Brendan McManamon (30), who has represented Dublin and plays for St Jude’s GAA club, has been charged under Section Three of the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Persons Act with assault causing harm to Enda Ledwith.
Mr Ledwith, a defender who has also played inter-county football for Longford, is a garda who plays for north Dublin team Na Fianna… He suffered a broken jaw during a home fixture against south-side rivals St Jude’s on March 31 last.
