No briantinnion, it isnt a regular occurence as it only happens at landmark birthdays I.e 30 40 or 21. Last year the courtown lads got together to send one of our number to ibiza for his 40th. I couldnt make it to the party but was happy enough to contribute. This present is for a lad from gorey (but all the friends are dubs) who has been raising his kid on his own as the mother has been sectioned a good few times and this was nice deserved break for him. Nobody would begrudge him that save for a few simpletons armed with a keyboard

Given the additional background it does a bit Art. I can see a certain logic to it given he’s not had great luck.
To set out my position here - landmark birthday + something quite bad happening = just about ok for a gift.
