Things That Are Wrong
That “trafficked” young wan who they released a photo of today looks a grand bit of stuff.

I don’t believe she’s only 15. (your Honour)
First thing I thought this morning when I heard the news. I wistfully shook my head and said to myself “you old dog Thraw”.

I’ve been living beside Young Wesley disco for long enough to be able to age a girl from 100 yards.

My only experience of that place was driving past there about a month after I first moved to Dublin and there was probably about 100 young wans queuing up outside. I have been around the world and I have lived a life but I have never seen anything like that before or since in my lifetime.

Wrong or right?

You should’ve seen it last week or the week before. There was a Leinster match on in the RDS beforehand so you’d the perfect storm outside Wesley before the place opened. The poor ould folk who work in the petrol station and the Spar have it tough. Eddie Rocket’s has to employ a bouncer. I walked by there on Monday night and there were six empty naggins of Smirnoff sitting on the wall outside Eddies. Depressing looking. I’m moving to East Wall in a couple of weeks to escape the madness.

This has been done hundreds of times, it would take a rag like the Sun to try make news out of it.

I would urge caution here, mate. I know a couple of girls who live there and they say it is an awful ropey area. There apartments are nice but they’ve had more than a few incidents to and from it at night. I’m sure you would be fine being a man of the world but I’m just mindful of your lovely lady.

Maybe some TFK posters have more knowledge of the area.

It’s grand, I used to live with my granny for two years, when I was in college recently, just up around the corner so I know the area well. My family draws a lot of water in the area, and those little shitbags who cause trouble don’t draw shit, so no one will fuck with me.

The more I hear about this story the more I think some of the gardai we have are stupid. Firstly they get the age of the girl wrong saying she was 14 or 15 but it turns out she is 19, then they say that she might be trafficed here, but now it turns out she is a student, Then they couldnt workout where she was from or what language she was speaking and it turns out she was Australian.

I know Australians are a bit fucked up but they still speak and understandable version of English or do they? What were the Gardai and HSE up to, did they not speak to the girl?

 No way taz!

Celtic fans getting attacked in Amsterdam last night :frowning:

The National Newspapers of Ireland awards are on at the moment. Roy Curtis of The Sunday World won the Sports Reporter of the Year award. No messing.

I hope their costumes collapsed and then set the place on fire. That would have made things very realistic.

The Sun also got it wrong. It was 5/11 fancy dress, not 9/11. If it was 9/11, it wouldn’t be for another two days yet. And you can’t report something that hasn’t happened. Well, you can if you’re a filthy tabloid rag. And that’s the truth.

I’ll never forget the time Roy had a big write up on why Ramsey should start for England. The page opposite had a match report from a Wales game that Ramsey played in,maybe even captained them. A spoof merchant of the highest order

It would have been great if he could have followed in his father Sir Alf’s footsteps.

Just tell them you grew up on the mean streets of dalkey, should take care of it.

What the fuck is your issue, pal?

I’m pulling the piss out of you for making out dalkey is a real rough spot.

That’s not what I said. But parts of it were rough in the 70s-90s. If you want to dispute that come talk to my best mate who’s brother OD’d and died. Hilarious right?

Please say you have a link to that article.
