Jaysus the poor girlfriend lost her brother and boyfriend in the space of a fortnight 
. She’d be in her mid 40s now.

Joking aside, a terrible time for her. Shit like that calls the whole God thing into question.

I had a really great day today.
Had a head cold coming on last night, so lashed in 3 large hot whiskeys with a few paracetamol before bed. Woke up today feeling grand.
Went on a hard run, back for a good breakfast, then went on a hike with the family, a steak dinner when we got home, then out for a skelp of pints for the evening. Ideal.

That’s the job. Today’s been a good day here for me as well.
I’d a cold coming on three weeks ago and the fucker is just about shifting. First couple of beers in a good while last night and a nice walk today. Hopefully back running in next couple of days and a big fuck off work project all finished up this morning.

He probably (knowing him) has a half-dozen of the finest free-range turkeys plumping up nicely. Nothing like watching your and others Christmas dinners maturing nicely in the morning.
