We said we’d pop out to the jetland this morning to buy a few nice bits for Christmas.
We were there early enough and car park wasn’t too bad so I thought we’d be alright.
Sweet jebus it was carnage. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a shop that busy, you couldn’t move without getting rammed with a trolley. Fuck that. Left it behind us and came away after 5 minutes. You’d want your head examined etc.

Ennis road Dunnes was it? I did a big shop there yesterday afternoon for ‘The Christmas’ and it was mental. They were five, six and in some aisles eight deep queuing at tills and everyone with an overflowing trolley.
For any of our Dublin posters Dunnes have opened a big supermarket in the Point Village and nobody seems to know its there. Very quiet. Did the big shop in less than an hour. Free parking for the first hour too. It was a bit of a challenge and mrs barnes had a small nosebleed but we got it done in 58 minutes.
