I was helping my Mam with her shopping last Friday in Leitrim and we met an elderly female neighbour of ours.
The same bubbly self she has always been, pushing her trolley around not a bother - my Mam told me she would be in her 90’s.
Outside in the car was her husband, driving. All 99 years of him.
If I get to that age and have such a situation then that would be the dream.

A good quality long life and then a fast ending would be ideal.
But it always doesn’t work that way unfortunately.
