Tipperary GAA 2010

Divisional Semis on down South and up North this coming weekend. (not sure if the West and Mid Semis are on)

North

Borris iliegh v Burgess
Kildangan v Toomevara

South

Carrick Swan v Mullinahone
Carrick Davins v Killenaule

Predictions:
Borris iliegh
Toomevara
Mullinahone
Killenaule

Couldn’t argue with that.Might throw them into an Accum.

the north semis could go either way though. wouldnt be suprised if both Kildangan and Burgess won.

Clare have a few decent players but they’re not going to come to Thurles and beat this Tipp team. Six point victory for Tipp, and Slievenamon ringing in the savages ears as they troop out of the stadium with their heads hanging low.

Ya, the mid semis are on this coming Saturday.

Drom/Inch V Upperchurch
Sars V Holycross

West Semis are on the weekend too.

Sat in Dundrum

Eire Og V Combo

Sunday in Cashel

Clonoulty/Rossmore V Kickhams

Two good games in prospect. first one could go either way but id fancy Eire og by a point or two purely because theyre the form team.

Kickhams will like playin C/R in Cashel. tight field will suit them and they always feel that they can beat C/R no matter how bad or good they going. Still, I think Clonoulty have too much class in Devane,Timmy and John O’Neill. Clon by 6

Presume yiu heard about the Killenaule situation Declan?

Down to play football tonight which they didnt show for. down to play south semi on thursday cos davins have lads going on holidays. bit of a joke if you ask me. the boards seem to have no time for senior duel clubs and those with players on county panels. playing a divisional semifinal on a thursday night is fucking ridiculous

Was it football championship tonight? Thats a disgrace alright having a south semi on a thursday, fucking gobshites. I’ve gone up to a few double geaders in the past inside in Clonmel, great games sometimes on a saturday night or sunday.

I was actually talking about their hurling situation though, and recent changes.

yea it was. a re fixture actually from a few weeks back. they didnt turn up that night either! Tipp were playing a seniors v 21s game the same night and Killenaule had 4 involved. Ah the Divisional boards are tools at the best of times. I could tell ya a few things but id be here all night.

Last i hear was that Willie O’Connor was gone. no loss by all accounts. was just collecting the money

Ya, the divisional board stories there match up with our ones down here. Ya twas the Willie story i was on about, he was stone useless and taking well over the odds as well, with no experience/results behind him. He had a run in with a certain local too i believe.

They are good at football, but they don’t give a fuck, not one training session this year i believe.

Thatd be about right on the football thing. alot of clubs are the same at senior which is a shame because it is a competitive championship, the senior football.

Knew a bit of the willie situation re: money and his ‘training’. Also a few players refused to play for him. didnt know about the run in. who was it with

My Man. QT.

They weren’t overly excited about the new fella either though, but at least he had pedigree as a coach. Hopefully all the players will play.

didnt know whos over them now. but if they have every one going right, theyd be dark horses for a co semi

Name escapes me now, slightly strange name, won All-Ireland with Tipp minors i think in recent years.

as a coach? sure the last management team to win all ire was the Big Dec/tommy dunne combo. Glossy Gleeson was involved too from thurles. but hes with Sars this year and Liam Cahill. In 06 youd Sheedy, Maguire from Lattin and Noel Russell from Swan

Nah, i must be wrong, maybe he trained a Harty team or something, can’t remember the name for the life of me.

Bertie sherlock Kev. Was involved with Toome,Lit, Tipp 21s and Intermediates before. And Waterford. Game could be off Thursday, It probably will but there has been nothing official yet.

The biggerst head the ball you will ever come across…The man is demented

Thats the man. Probably what they need.
