Tipperary GAA 2010

Mad as a Badger… Out and out Lunatic. good trainer but costs an arm and a leg

Ye Fuckers!

He was involved with Inagh/Kilnamona and the Clare camogie team in the last couple of years as well…Pure old school

thats an understatement… hes fair fit for his age. originally a borris man i believe.

My sources tell me Bertie Sherlock is training the galway camogie team and is doing one night a week with Killenaule.
Just to confirm it was Eddie O’Connor not Willie that was training them, he was involved in a little altercation with one of the mentors of the minor team over a senior challenge match.
He was useless aparently, his most common retort to all and sundry was show us your medals, , while getting the guts of 500 a week out of them.

Killenaule are adamant they will not be turning up for the South Semi-Final on Thursday night and have a serious gripe with the fixtures comittee, they are penalising the club for having county players.
Fixing the football for Monday night after Fanning and Kerwick being involved on Sunday and then fixing the Hurling for Thursday night after Bubbles playing with the U-21’s on Wednesday night.
This one could run and run…

Killenaule beat Carrick Davins 3-19 to 2-18 after extra time in the 2nd South Semi-Final this evening.

The four divisional finals were to go ahead next weekend, but the following was released today -

Following a request from the Tipperary S.H. management team, the Competition Controls Committee of Coiste Chontae Thiobraid Árann agreed at their meeting on Monday night August 16th to postpone the North and Mid Divisional S.H. Finals plus the four O’Riain Cup Quarter Finals scheduled for this weekend. The North Board also agreed to postpone the North I.H. semi final involving Newport and Borrisokane. All these postponed games will now be played on week commencing Sun Sept 12th. The South and West Divisional S.H. Finals will go ahead as scheduled this weekend. Tipperary Co Board and S.H. Management would like to thank the Divisional Boards and clubs for their co-operation with this request.

I would doubt if the South Final will go ahead as John O’Dwyer is involved in the U21 Semi-Final against Antrim on Saturday and Declan Fanning is involved in the Senior AI.
Although, as Killenaule have been fighting with the South Board all summer over fixtures, they have refused to play Senior Football ties on 3 or 4 occasions, I wouldn’t be surprised if the South Board insist on the Final being played on Sunday.

The South Board have posted all fixtures involving Killenaule in Irish on the Tipp GAA site and on Aertel, as Killenaule successfully appealed a match being awarded against them as they weren’t notified of the fixture in Irish

Killenaule were missing their 3 main forwards tonight i believe, but would still be surprised to be brought to extra time by Davins.

They were hurling poorly all year so getting to a South Final is someway decent.

I saw them a couple of times and they were brutal, especially bad against Mullinahone.

My sources tell me Fanning had an immense game and Festy was introduced during extra time.
Davins got a dream start with 2 goals in the first five minutes, I suppose whoever you are playing against, giving them a 6 point start takes a bit of pegging back.

Ya, the training was muck by all accounts. Can’t believe festy wasn’t starting when they were missing dwyer and kerwick.

Do you know the story behind festy’s nickname?

O’Dwyer and Doyle - Festy is Kerwick

Heard it along time ago and can’t remember now, they like their nicknames in Killenaule.

They do ya, its Tony Doyle i was thinking of, see i got fucking mixed up with all the names they have.

Anyway, kerwick, festy when he was a young fella drove my mates car, a fiesta, into a wall one night. He was underage and was driving a few of us around all night, mental fucker. Just can’t remember was that anything to do with it, or was he festy already, he was 16 at the time.

He was called festy as a young lad as far as I recall.

Ya, just had it confirmed there, had nothing to do with that, what they remember though is festy in the festy. He was slightly touched back then.

FFS

time to shut down this site if this is where we are at now

I knew you’d be regaled by this story.

Is it too late for NCC’S mother to have an abortion I wonder.

FFS is fucking right.

My mate is Festy. He drove us into a wall in a Fiesta. We called him Festy because of that. What he was always called Festy? Yeah I just got that confirmed. We just called him Festy in the Festy. He should be starting when Kerwick is injured. Nah you’re right, he is Kerwick I forgot. I got him mixed up with Tony Doyle. He used to be 16 though.

It’s probably the worst page of posts in the history of the Internet

Kev’s banal bluffing has been badly shown up here.
