As regards Sheedy, I believe Chelsea have been in contact so I doubt he’ll have time to commit to Portroe this year.
Interesting. Some people would have you believe Sheedy is the sole reason for Portroe’s good form but seems to me they’re doing just fine on their own.

They beat a Killenaule team that people that don’t see them often overrate massively
They won their Co Championship group and the South Championship this year, it was hardly overrating them by making them favourites yesterday.

Think Fanning actually was playing but he hasn’t hurled much this year and in any case he’s gone back a long way the last few years which is understandable. Gerry Kennedy is a decent keeper but there isn’t really much a goalie can do to make the players with him better. Also the South Championship isn’t very good as shown by the beating Mullinahone got off Sars and they were unlucky to lose to Killenaule in the South
