Will ye get a bit of support for this one chief?
Should be knocking about chief. Ive been on this bandwagon when there was only one carriage.
I think we might bring 10/15 k next time out. This team has captured the imagination a bit by virtue of the style of football they play. Still there are large parts of the county where they will hardly be 4/5 supporters from clubs. Attendance will also be dependant on weather and how the hurlers go on sunday week.
Same here @Fat_Pox. Travelled the country when there was only 100/150 of us at matches. I was young and single then though.
I’m lucky now to make a senior club game with kids and coaching and admin stuff.
In fairness I’m always supplied with a ticket from the south board, regardless of where the seniors are out. Not sure they’ve looked too closely to where they’re actually posting the passes to.
I’d say if the hurlers win, the feel good factor might take effect and give the footballers a boost
The opposition could be a factor too. Tipp would love another go at Tyrone after the stole an AI from us last year.
I’d fancy our chances against Mayo though.
I think ye have a better chance against Mayo. They’re like a car with dirty petrol at the moment and are spluttering along. I’d put a few bob on ye for the next day if Mayo win today
I’d give us a good chance of upsetting Mayo. Their full back line is poor and they would let us play our game.
Tyrone on the other hand would strangle us. Saw them in clones this year for the ulster final and there seems to be a real confident attitude to them. They are all so sure in their roles. I would love it if we beat them though especially after their behaviour on and off the field in Parnell park last year.
Nembo in 5, 4, 3, 2…
I see the games are off this weekend involving the footballers. Was this a board decision? Or has the football management asked for them to be pulled. I thought it was only a 14 day gap for inter county. Either way they’ll be under some pressure to get things run off in time for Munster club.
They beat us fair and square in the u21 last year. The off the ball stuff was bad though
The 7/8 dual clubs are going to have a very busy glut of games coming up.
I heard the football panel met up midweek & decided en masse they would not play Intermediate Hurling this weekend.
Will they be read out from the altar for that sort of craic?
That’s the story I was told but I also heard 3 clubs in one of the divisions emailed the board saying they wouldn’t play.
Rockwell Rovers are moving heaven & earth not to play CKC in hurling tomorrow. Whether Moloney togs or not they are in for a hiding. Getting 5 & 6 training all summer.
Heard cashel going poor as well?
