Very good appointment. A knowledgeable and thoroughly prepared man. Iād imagine he will bring a huge improvement to the set up although that wouldnāt be hard given what you have said about Lillis throughout the year. He played a very attacking brand of football with Tipp but we conceded a lot, however I think ye would have a better type of forward than us. We are very reliant on our 2 main men.
Laois, Fucking Laois have a better type of forward than Tipp.

Very reliant on 2 inside men. Most counties would be doing well to have one sharp shooter never mind 2 of the best forwards in the country in their full forward line and a very high percentage free taker in O Halloran who is arguably the best stiker of a free off the ground in the country.
Ha, its our backline Iād be very worried by. Youāre being kind to us, we donāt have all that much anymore. Kingston is still a great talent, but lazy as sin, and thats not going to change. After that, Munnelly has it all done, and youāre looking around the place a bit at that stage.
Its a big ticket, Jackson will no doubt have it paid for though after this weekend.

Iām hearing on the grapevine that Jerome Stack will be going into Tipp as a coach in some capacity. Was the Tom Toomey lad coaching the seniors? If so then I assume Stack will be straight in to replace him.
Toomey did little coaching but was an integral part of the set up with his video analysis work. He cracked the Galway kick out system fairly easily and got great credit from the players for it.
How is Stack regarded?
Not very well.
