You saw a few hills in my photos and lost the run of yourself.
I’m sure I’ve shit talked both those clubs in here somewhere. Ballingarry from what I’ve seen of them in the flesh recently are not fit and are often more interested in fighting than hurling. They are an anachronism @the_man_himself. And until such time as the culture within that club changes they deserve to be put into senior relegation by a rural clubs second team.
By the way did they finish with the full fifteen today? If they did, that at least is a step in the right direction.
We’ve had one sending off all year and that was two yellows. The team we have now is very young and none of them have any interest in fighting, we just aren’t good enough. None of our games this year have had any bit of fighting in them whatsoever. I can only assume you saw the game against Brackens last year and made a sweeping statement based on that, because that’s the only game in the last 5 years where I can remember any aggro. We had a deserved reputation about 10 years ago alright but there’s nothing like that anymore

Foreword by Babs Keating
The auld lads will absolutely love this.
Babs will do an hour-long Xmas special debunking every story in it
One of my abiding memories as a young lad is sitting in the stand in Thurles, a few rows back from the dug out. Gaynor jumped up from the bench to argue over a decision and my father stood up and roared at him “Sit down Gaynor you fucking bollox”
Getting it for the father for Christmas
Even the dry balls Gaynor one
Rumour mill has it that north chipp have pulled the plug on hurling on all levels.
Senior and intermediate championships pulled
Huh?
Meeting last night, not enough clubs wanted to participate, afaik
Strange decision, essentially handing control of fixtures to Co Board now
You’d wonder if its lack of interest or basically telling the county board that the link with the divisions has to stay
Janey. I thought the North Tipp championship was the big one?
The Frank McGrath Cup was said to be the next most important thing after Tommy Moore up until the last decade.
To play the divisions, with no link to County, minus County Players, minus crowds, in miserable weather with no dressing rooms probably made it a relatively easy decision.
Focus has to be on getting the under 21 championships played.
I hope Sheedy releases Jake Morris/Jerome Cahill/Craig Morgan etc.
When we won north Tipp in 1996, the pubs put the price of the pint back to the last time we won it (1935) for a few hours. Lads came in to school still scuttered the next morning
