Tipperary GAA 2021

2013 was very special.

We trained very hard that glorious summer, often early in the morning to avoid the blistering heat that year.

2014 and 2015 were nice too but nothing beats the first one.

Twas all about the journey.

One of the greatest days of my life was the only North final win that I or my father ever lived to see. Quarter of a century ago and I can still remember it so well.

They have been saying that of Loughmore for decades

It is pound for pound Ireland’s best GAA parish

Loughmore have been one of the best senior teams in the county for 35 years. Don’t know who makes that shit up.

Like tournaments in the 60s and 70s, thing of the past unfortunately.

I’d agree with that.

But, Divisional Championship should be run separately to Co Championship imo.

Let Intermediate teams contest Senior Divisional championships.

Why theyd be beaten abouy 20 points.

Any Trophy won should entail celebrating & drinking copious amounts for days after.

God knows it’s a rarity ffs.

Not necessarily.

To the tune of…

Intermediate is Seamus o rian in all but name. Any team hurling intermediate at the moment is in fact hurling junior A.

the north kerry football champiohship is the biggest competition of the year for clubs in north kerry, completely unlinked to county competitions

elsewhere in the county, the district competitions dont seem to matter as much

Even the North Kerry Clubs have given up on it.

Well Listowel have anyway.

How have they?

it has waned a little in recent seasons

Listowel have given up full stop, making no impact in any competitions district or county

not good enough as a town to beat some of the rural clubs around them

very underperforming town for decades really all said,
