Tipperary GAA 2022

Magical wrists.

Could make the ball the talk.

Bubbles in his pomp in Croke Park on a sunny day

The fact that it very specifically says it’s a league panel and doesn’t include the likes of Willie Connors (who we know is injured) suggests that Bubbles might be back for Championship if he gets fit. He was an awful size when I saw him before Christmas; but you’d imagine that if he’s fit, he’ll walk back in.

A few years back Cuala played Tipp in a challenge around this time of year. Bubbles was dragged off the bench with 20 mins to go with guffaws of “wintering well” for all to hear. 20 mins later he had 1-4 clipped with the response from a few sages that “wrists don’t winter”.

You’re saying he hit them back with 1-4?

Always good for a few quotes after a game too.

That time he sent Paul Murphy for a bag of chips in 2016 was iconic. Murphy forgot his hurley and had to go back for it

Whatever happened to the young lad Fairweather?

He’s a trouble maker.

I see. Sounds like a lad whose parents are hippies.

Fairbrother? Wouldn’t be the standard

Sorry yeah, that’s him. Good underage player.

Is Niall O Meara after stepping away?

Surprised no Conor Bowe there either or David sweeney

Niall O’Meara has pulled out.

Bowe is there. Sweeney was on panel in 2019 but let go shortly afterwards.

Ciaran Connolly and Bryan O’Mara not committing to it this year and Jerome Cahill is obviously no longer available.

It is what it is, there’ll be a great club championship there to be won.

Port’s Bobby Byrne still on board

A great championship tbf.

Big question marks over some omissions tho. Tipp will be chasing again this year I feel.

The much maligned Robert Byrne could be centre back for the start of the League if Ronan Maher isn’t up to speed on time.

Have we anyone else to play there?

Tipp will be pinning their hopes this year on Conor O’Donovan’s petition regarding the handpass

Cadell no?

Eoghan Connolly? Enda Heffernan?
