Tipperary GAA 2022

Slow take over of the board with Cullen in there already. I know nothing of this lad though so I might be harsh lumping him into the same bracket as Cullen.

Frankie McGrath and co will be able to organise next year’s Draws/Fixtures from his own sitting room.

Sounds like just the sort of lad Tipp need to knock a few heads together.

Loughmore have a great way of portraying themselves in the local media as sort of “harmless simpleton’s” but they are actually incredibly clever behind it all.

If you ever look at the way they currently organise their fixtures, they’ll always play a Football match against Moycarkey or someone that they know they are going to win anyway on a Friday night in Templetuohy giving them maximum preparation time (8 or 9 days) for the next round of the Hurling. They’ve it down to a tee unlike other clubs who end up playing key hurling games 5 or 6 days after a Football match they probably don’t care about. They’ll also play as many games as possible in Semple, even earlier rounds.

Genuinely not sure what experience or qualifications this lad has to be a CEO :man_shrugging: Maybe he’ll be better at than those who do :man_shrugging:

I’d say you’d have some list of headbangers applying for that

Commanded 564 soldiers on the Lebanese border. Beats the shit out of doing audits in KPMG

Fair point there mate :+1:

What money is available for that role for salary?

The right experience when you need to deal with the South Board

A man I know well. Fair play to him. A serious high functioning individual with excellent people skills. Without a doubt the funniest man I’ve beered with to boot.

A great appointment also that he will look to promote both codes equally. I really hope he can weed out some of the dross around the county and divisional boards and pull some of the excellent people in clubs and schools.

His brother is Lieutenant Colonel and Barrister at Law for the Defence Forces as well. They have done well for themselves

A family of high achievers alright. The mother is a serious woman.

Did he play for Loughmore back around 2007?

No. Another brother was the football goalie for a good few years.

Only played junior hurling for them. Although he has represented Cavan in hurling.

He got a few mins of senior football action over the years. More often as a sub coming on. His brother Dom was football keeper for years.

Transferred to a club outside Athlone where was stationed for years. Won a senior county final starting with them. Castledaly i think they were.

Some team.

I don’t recognise no.5?

Always a pity they didn’t beat Ballyhale that time.
