He didn’t travel down I think. I’d say they visited him this week though and depending on the weather/his health , he will be at the next game.

1 all ireland club since for Tipperary. Woeful record for a top county.
Clubs are clubs and county teams are county teams
Since Lk won AI in 2018 the performances in club championships have been average at best
Limerick clubs always had an awful record. Tipp clubs should be doing better.
Its terrible alright, but no club has really been good enough bar maybe Toomevara who were unlucky to run into some serious teams like Doora Barefield x2, Ballygunner, Athenry and Ballyhale. I dont remember them completely messing up any time.
Thurles had a load of goes at it but ultimately had too many weak links that got exposed year after year.
Borrisileigh and Loughmore possibly overachieved winning Munster.
The team who maybe could have kicked on and done a “Kilcoo” would be Drom. They won a County Senior with a young team in 2011 (Callanan and Johnny Ryan were only 23, Woodlock 25) and they had an absolute dream team that won an Under 14 the same year and an Under 16 in 2012. They should have added those lads in the following few years and kicked on to win more Counties and had a few more goes at Munster but instead winning the County in 2011 felt like the “end of a process”.
Tommy Nolan could have been anything but I’m not sure if he even hurls anymore

Thats probably the Championship Team.
I suppose the thinking would be to get Dan McCormack picking up the opposition centre forward and free up Ronan Maher, Breen to midfield.
Then in the forwards play a triangle of Forde and McGrath x2 and tell the other 2 to spread it wide.
The bench is incredibly weak.

Why a straight final?
There are only two teams eligible to compete.
With only 4 teams they could surely work out a championship with the 4 at some point
Junior championships are the only thing currently interesting in West Tipperary adult level GAA
If that was West Limerick they’d make the 4 play senior, then make prem intermediate teams also play prem intermediate and bring up intermediate teams, etc etc etc
