Tipperary GAA 2022

Must be an injury. Other than swapping the hogans, itā€™s probably the best available side. Heā€™s clearly looking to spring Browne, Bonner , Dan and John Mc with 20 to go.

Not bad options. 8 senior all Irelands between them.

Donā€™t think Barry has been too hot in goals this year.

Pretty much as expected? Dan on the bench maybe a slight surprise, although has his form been great?

How can John McGrath not be on that team?

His puckouts and distribution are prob better. The father says Connolly isnā€™t up to it, no injury.

Can a forward line carry more than 2 slow forwards? John McGrathā€™s form in Championship over the past few years has been very poor, as good as he has been for his club.

Itā€™s probably him or Noel at this stage.

He was poor at IC level alright, but I believe there may have been a reason for that which has since been resolved.

I dunno, heā€™s a proven scorer. Strange one.

Who would a full back line hate to see run on with 20 left, him or Mark Kehoe?

The game could be gone away from you at that stage, though. Tipp need to start well on Sunday and try build a lead. Canā€™t see them chasing down Waterford from behind.

John McGrath has had two poor enough IC seasons behind him, and didnā€™t do much in this league. I would think thereā€™s a bit of burn out there as well, with all the hurling and football with the club. Noel probably edged the pick as he will be dropping deeper.

I think Kehoe, Bowe etc. deserve a shot.

Dan Mc has looked off the boil a bit this year. Right call to bench him.

I donā€™t like the look of our midfield

That Stakelum lad on the bench could barely make the Sars team my sources say cc @peddlerscross.

I havenā€™t a clue how he keeps getting on the bench. Heā€™s this seasonā€™s Robert Byrne (who, in fairness, was decent in the league). I suppose we are down to the bare bones

Nepotismā€¦ same with Ken Hoganā€™s lad

He didnt start the replay due to injury last year. Hard to know if heā€™d be guaranteed to start this year with Dara Stakelum, Aidan Mac, Pa Bourke, Denis Maher, Creedon and Billy Mac back fit.

He used to be a nippy corner forward who was getting bullied inside but has reinvented himself as a hard working half forward in the last year.

On the team in general, its just about digging in for the first half and hope Waterford implode under the weight of expectation.

Sigh

In my day it was spending hours on AFR in the Venus lab in UL. Now, this is how students do their INTERNETTING. For shame
