2 and a half hours they met with Bonnar, rang him 20 minutes later and sacked him.
They obviously have a Plan B
Disgusting way to treat the man.
Fuck Liam Cahill too.

Itā€™s amazing the positive impact Duignan has had in Offaly, it seems impossible to upset the apple cart in Tipp.

When is Liam Cahill expected to be unveiled?

He died a few weeks ago mate so I hope he wonā€™t be unveiled

People need to stop crying about the way Bonnar got the chop. At the end of the day he was going anyway.

No one is saying he should have been kept on. The way it was done and the statement were horrendous.

The Board deserve to be slammed for it.

There is a right way and a wrong way of doing things and the County Board have jumped the shark with regard to wrongness.
Why go through a sham of a process.
Should never have been appointed either without bringing a management team with him.

The phone was ringing for Cahill this afternoon. I heard one hell of a story. He was treated poorly but was 20 years behind.

It doesnā€™t make any odds what way a soldier is killed but once the story was Published in the Gaurdian he was on his death bed.

Better with one bullet to the head than agony in hospital for the next week.

It kinda does make odds how you do your business, particularly if you want to continue doing so.

Iā€™d have problems they didnā€™t appoint Willie Maher.

Not the worst of them Iā€™ve heard. Chair or secretary of the CCC at the minute. Been pushing for a 4g pitch in each division the last few years in his convention report

Sacrificial Lamb.

Look at this blouse throwing piss over the wall and their star man caught again recently drink driving. :joy:

Uncle PJ makes those stories disappear thankfully

Hey! You little bollix

You are spot on.

Bonnar is a decent skin but my two centsā€¦.

  • He was a stop gap appointment
  • He knew he was a stop gap and still took it. Stupid decision
  • The man hadnā€™t a coach or selectors at the beginning nor endā€¦
  • Hurling is evolving, Bonnar is old school
  • You canā€™t be losing the likes of Dunne & Curran without reason
  • Johnny Enright is a good man but his CV?

Those whinging within the County over Bonnar being cast adrift is gas considering the same fuckwits cut the Co Board asunder for not securing Cahill.

If Cahill comes back into the fold, great.

If not, Declan Fanning please.
