Roche is a flute. I heard Daly had him removed from the line with him. Jim is originally of Wexford stock. The story goes one day he was in the dugout for a Wexford-Dublin game. Wexford score a goal and Jim yelps out in celebration. I think Daly and Hedgo made sure he wasn’t on the line after that.

We’ve our share of boosheymen here, be grand.
He’s the kind of lad who’d be around the club being a general know it all but being entirely fucking useless and causing more harm than good. No doubt some clever clubman nominated him as a county board rep years back to get him out of their hands and be a problem for the county board. The current Tipp PRO would be a prime example of such a person.
