I know. It had his stamp all over it. I’ve heard he’s also fallen out with some gate checkers in the mid in the past few weeks. A cousin of his is a nun over here. She came into school a few weeks ago to speak to the kids. After finding out her lineage, I asked “are you related to so and so?”

John Fitz, Na Piarsaigh. He was Shane O’Neill’s coach in Galway, in Nenagh and in Na Piarsaigh

He was goalkeeper for Na Piarsaigh for a good bit; he would have managed Limerick underage teams & 21s in his own right before. His son, also John Fitz, was a Limerick minor last year, eligible for adult hurling for NaP this year.

Bevans is a Borrisileigh clubman effectively now. His son (who will be some player by the way) plays for them.
Borris did very well out of the great Toome team with Denis Kelly’s son Jerry there and there is a younger brother there too.
I’d expect Borris to be in Croke Park again in the next 10-15 years.

I suppose if they are living in Borrisileigh it makes sense to buy into the community and play with their friends.
Denis Kelly managed Toome against his son playing for Borris a bit in recent years. Similar to Andy and Owen Farrell in Rugby Union Football.

Great win for Gortnahoe tonight over Killenaule. Probably the closest thing they have to a rivalry in Tipp and not even in the same division.
Surprised by that.
Killenaule are notoriously flaky though and tend to concede/score big.
The draw between Loughmore and kiladangan will suit both sides.
Drom beat Templederry handy who got an awful draw. Think they will take out one of Sars or Borris.
