Tipperary GAA 2022

After going to them. Thereā€™s fierce interest in Junior hurling in Limerick. Event junkies wouldnā€™t understand.

Thereā€™s a big interest in Junior Hurling in Tipp too but we tend not to go on about it. The standard would be high.

Tipperary clubs usually do well in the All Ireland Club Junior B Championship and Clonoulty Rossmore are the reigning champions.

So the club game is where itā€™s at but only an elite part of the club game?

Is general confusion, contradiction and foggy headedness a symptom of centuries of inbreeding Iā€™m wonderingā€¦

Thereā€™s an awful lot of first teams in Limerick junior A championships hence the keen interest.

This isnā€™t the case in Tipp except down south where they canā€™t even organise referees. The south junior championships are the worst publicised competition in the county.

Thatā€™s because all the Junior teams are Senior or Intermediate in Tipp  Jokeshop, sure wasnā€™t there 40 something Senior teams there at one stage

Tis like underage Camogie, thereā€™s a final for everyone to play in

My club is an average intermediate (3rd tier) club and we beat one of the favourites for the Limerick Premier Intermediate in a challenge 3 weeks ago

They played ye to give a run out to the lads that donā€™t start mate, hate to break it to you

Seems like a strange thing to do after travelling over an hour on a midweek night

Travelled over an hour to ye on a midweek night? Sure they most definitely were missing a pile so

A couple of weeks before championship? They mustnā€™t take club championship very seriously in Limerick if thatā€™s the case

The Limerick clubs are always a nice confidence booster before championship.

Who were these favourites for the Prem Inter anyway??

Cappamore. I said one of the favourites

He only togged there to play football.

Challenges can be strange tbf, one of the teams struggling against relegation in Limerickā€™s third tier hammered a decent enough Seamus Oā€™Riain side in a challenge a few weeks ago too.

And Bruree beat Ballyhea, who are Senior A in Cork.

Also, last year, Sarsfields of Cork bate the absolute shit out of Kilmallock in a challenge match the week before Championship. Kilmallock went on to win the country and destroyed the Cork champions without breaking a sweat. The problem with challenges is that you donā€™t know where the equivalent teams are at.

Championship is a different story.

Would you not allow him their win over Cappamore in a challenge game midweek without destroying it, itā€™s all they have now
