Two preliminary quarter finals this weekend.
Clonoulty have got Sars out to the tighter environs of Holycross. They are obviously with their leader (RIP) but also meant to be short Robert Doyle (inj) and Conor Hammersely who is away.
Still give them a chance if there full back line can keep the goals out. Sars to come through.
Nenagh play JK brackens in the other one. On one hand it looks like a game set up for Brackens but they havenât convinced me up front.
I have a feeling Nenagh will win this pulling up before falling later on.
Two premier intermediate preliminaryâs also. Swans despite being in relegation play the mines. The task is to stop Forde. They finished bottom of their group after 3 narrow losses. Might have a greater spread.
Clonakenny play Burgess in the other one. Clonakenny definitely fall into the underrated category, they were in the same strong group as Swan, Cashel and Port. I fancy them.

I believe he is gone to college in the US.
Gone on a scholarship that was fairly competitive to get into I think. They are also missing Stephen Ferncombe I believe. Theyâll be doing well to get near Sars

Sars are vulnerable at the minute but I just think Clonoulty are too depleted to get over the line. If you compared the Sars first team defence to their second team right now, there is little or nothing between them.
Its Dillon Quirkeâs months mind mass tonight so hard to know how that will affect Clonoulty mentally too.

Great to see Solohead bating Kickhams too. Proper Junior club winning a Junior championship.
West Teams have a good record in the county of that competition, they could go all the way.
They have made a good effort the last few years getting a few transfers and young lads. They have lost a few to Cappa which is a pity but it was always likely.
Bad day all round for Kickhams but seems a bit mental their Juniors were out to play in Cappawhite at 1.30 and their Inters playing in Borrisileigh at 4.30
Thereâd be a crossover with a lot of their Juniors being subs for their Inters.
Their preparation for both games would have been all wrong.
