The West PRO and Stevie O’Donnell gave an absolute Tour De France on Tipp MWR this morning.
Absolutely no holds barred.

Absolutely no holds barred.
About what, may I ask?
Hurling in general and the state of our underage set ups in particular. Last years minors were pretty much wrote off as an average team despite winning the All Ireland.
Stevie has a great way of drawing it out of his two most notable hurling pundits, The West PRO and JJ Kennedy.
The finest lad. He’s a teacher down there. Has been teaching down there years now.
I missed that but I’m sure I’ll get sent the tape in due course.
Its real no nonsense stuff.
Stevie: “Who’ll win tomorrow?”
West PRO: “Limerick”
Stevie: “What makes you think that?”
West Pro: " Look it, they’re just better Stevie"
A podcast of it would Dalo and the boys out of the water.
Runs with Menapians running club, and a bloody good runner at that. Used to run with him, a gem of a man. From Kilruane McDonagh’s (?), has a big gra for the football.
Nenagh man and wouldn’t have touched a football years ago! Hated the thing! But he’s been excellent since getting involved. I’ve heard he’s a decent runner now.
Or Nenagh even!
If I’m in the car i always pull in to listen. I nearly crashed one night when Stevie made a big deal about which way the 4 lads doing the long puck at the Dillon Quirke match would be pucking - into the Town End or Kilinan.
The West PRO just played it down and said it didnt really matter but Stevie kept going on and on, so a frustrated West PRO eventually just said they’d puck whichever way the wind was going.
Thanks. Yes, does not surprise me, of course, to hear of those two men, whom I know a bit, speaking so well.
Kilkenny Minors were shocking, with U20s no great shakes either.
Hope you’re not judging them on today’s loss.
JJ has a bee in his bonnet now at the moment that you see more corner backs taking on corner forwards trying to work the ball out, than you do corner forwards taking on corner backs trying to score goals.
He’s dead right too.
Sharp point. His ‘Westside’ column has been top notch for years and years. Am a big fan of it.
Enda? Decent lad. From Naynagh
Edit: @Declan_Moffat gave the details already.
Enda used to be always sitting near us on the season ticket for years but went stone mad on the football since
That’s him, sound out. Has the Munster final win 2020 as his proudest Tipperary moment.
Well… The backs were too slow and the forwards struggled to win ball. The half forward line became a disaster area. Yes, there are three fellas to come back at some point, with the possibility that Bill Hughes and Denis Walsh might return as well, but there is a lot of mending to get done.
