Tipperary GAA 2024

Gardiner Currann and Sean Og are very like this current Limerick halfback line ( both in prime obviously) totally dominant.

Callanan, bonnar, Noel McGrath and Corbett start too.

Bit it’s a team sport. That Cork team would have won much more but for the fact they were around at the same time as the greatest team of all time and politics (internal).

Tipp definitely made an absolute mess of their management teams.

Limerick or Kilkenny didn’t lose Cody or kiely.

It’s a huge part of it. Tipp made several bad appointments.

Sure any team could say that.

I’d say 2 All Irelands was about right.

Jerry and Tom Kenny were a better version of Shane McGrath and Woodlock.

Bonnar, a come here for ffs!!!

He was an outstanding player.

Outstanding only in getting the v max out if himself for such a limited hurler.

I count them as winning 3

He was a very good player. Every side needs a player like him.

I think the main problem there was the opposition. Kilkenny knocked us out in 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 after a replay. A good Galway team beating us by a point in 15 and 17 semis. 18 was a washout, although should have seen off Clare and got out of the round robin only for a sequence that had Jake Morris hit the post, Brendan Maher do his cruciate and Clare go down other end and get a goal. Regardless, weren’t organised enough to do anything that year.

Three All Irelands is as good as we’ve done any decade since the 60s. Probably a while before we do it again.

I think Sheedy staying in 2011 might have lead to more success, but we will never know

Minors going well here

That’s what I said.

Yes. The opposition. Always a problem.

Especially when it was that particularly good (best of all time?) Kilkenny team

Good win for the minors. Our only hope for next few years is a bit of success underage to help backbone the 2029 team.

I don’t think so. Bit of an aul asterisk beside 2’19.

Tipp were a very good team but they were never miles ahead of anyone.
