Tom Brady - On Tablet watch

Not a massive fan, pal. I never really gave it a chance tbf. The Cannocks on the east coast are seriously opinionated cunts who think that everything Canadian is gold. They wrecked my head so much about Hockey in the off-season telling me how superior it was to GAA/Soccer etc I wouldnā€™t watch it -Tho I did go to a junior game between Canada and Russia that was held in Nova Scotia and it was good craic.

Thats somewhat disappointing to hear, ive been told maritimers are by far the soundest canadians, the ones over this coast can tend to bit odd, or else dull, but generally nice people. Obsessed with the idea that they have a better society than america, which they do, but their feted health care and welfare system is a disgrace and not a patch on europe. Hockey is dynamite though, especially live, up there with hurling for pure action and dirty as fuck the scoring can be a bit messy but they are talking about widening the goals or doing something else. That was a loaded question i asked you, if you said the bruins i would have said you were a boston oirish lickspittle. All red blooded Catholic maritimers support the habs. PK Subban is in the ra.

On face value the maritimers do come across as sound, but behind the mask is a know it all do gooder type of cuntā€¦ Ah, the situation was oddā€¦we lived with a friend of my then girlfriendā€¦she was from Nova Scotia but studied in UL with my Mrsā€¦so her friends became our friends by default and they werenā€™t really my peopleā€¦ Met a few lads through soccer and the bar I worked in but by and large I hated the cunts for a finishā€¦ Telling me their beer was better, their food was better, their milk was even better because their grass was betterā€¦ I disengaged for a finish and did my own thing.

Yeah they are justā€¦ Strangeā€¦ Theyre not as loud as yanks but not nearly as friendly. And they can be fairly wound up tight. I had a serious bitching session with a turkish/belgian lad in work a few weeks back. Heā€™s been here five years and hates it, wishes he learned german and moved there. Says they are over polite and little bitches, at least in Vancouver. They give out about everything, threaten to sue at the drop of the hat all the while saying sorry in every sentance and refusing to curse. I moved inland temporarily a few weeks ago to see a different side of it. Pure red neck country in the BC interior. Still too polite but a lot of nutters, gun nuts, hunting obsessed etc. Still its an experience. Not bad people at all, not a bit confrontational like some aussies for example, but its hard to be at ease around them and have the craic.

Thatā€™s itā€¦overly fucking nice to your face, Ned Flanders like, but bitches behind itā€¦they are fake cuntsā€¦ That was my experience of the East anyway, seems itā€™s the same out west. I wouldnā€™t go to Canada again for free. But yeah, itā€™s not Oz I suppose.

Last night was a perfect example of your point here

not sure Iā€™d agree with that. Rodgers was poor throughout, he showed a few nice flashes and got lucky that Detroit gave him one last play that he just heaved into the end zone. heā€™s had much better games than that to be honest where he has done as bad winner said and shredded teams.

Get off the fence man.

True enough but I was more referring to his ability to make that play at the end, scrambling from the pass rushers and managing to accurately land the ball in the endzone from 70 yards. Anything short of the endzone wouldā€™ve have been no good which Iā€™ve seen on a lot of hail marys recently.

All this talk about Brady having no weapons.

He has had Gronk since 2010, a transcendent talent, who along with Hernandez and Belicheckā€™s scheming made the Patriotsā€™ Offense a nightmare to handle due to sheer mismatches.

All this talk of completion in the Superbowl of 37 completions?? how many yards did he throw for? every 3rd pass was a screen to Vereen so the Seattle secondary was taken out of the equation.

I think Brady is an excellent competitor, he is not the best qb ever, he does not do things that no one else can do. He is excellent under pressure usually but he is not the best QB ever.

again, all subjective. Iā€™m not going to tell you that youā€™re wrong.

The only thing I find is that if he does things that are so simple, then why dont other QBs do the same or have the same success? It cant be just a simple case of it being easy to throw a screen or a slant. Brady is consistent in reading a defence, seeing mis matches and being accurate and quick. His release is quicker than most, he reads blitzes better than most. He has a will to win and improve the whole time. Is he as flashy as others? No, and have said as much before. But if you want a QB to throw 400 yards and look great, go elsewhere, if you want to put the game into someones hands to win it for you, go to Brady.

Child please.

what? what wide receivers am I missing?

ha. I actually totally forgot about Chad. What a clown. He was a fair aul bust alright.

What about Branch?

would you consider Branch amongst the best wide receivers to have played? Branch was ok, a good player who did his role well. But he wasnt a good deep threat receiver. Same with Givens, Patten, Brown etc. Decent guys, none bad, but none are going to stretch the field and get you a long reception consistently. Branch went off and cashed in with Seattle after his 10 reception superbowl and MVP against the Eagles, and was dead right. But he would never get the money he was looking for with the Patriots as he was easily replaceable.
