A Hall of Fame quarterback but he has the GOAT coach there. The Pats are proven winners without him. Top 5 of all time but that’s it.
Proven winners? Only time in last 15 years they missed playoffs was when Brady missed a season. They can win games without him, they can’t win championships without him. Obviously a great team and coach, but Brady is what makes it all work.

To go over all this old ground again, the pats won 11 games with cassel, brady has won 12 4 times since, 13 and 14 once and only 10 the season after cassel. So brady is worth about 2.5 wins over a fairly average replacement. He executes Belichecks game plan well, and has had the luxury of playing in what has generally been a jokeshop division, he was outplayed by eli in two superbowls and can fully thank Malcom butler that he didn’t lose 3. The multiple tight end sets, the quick outs which has been behind their success, is all Belicheck.
Lolz… Out played by Eli who had to rely on a last minute hail Mary and a joke catch… I seem to remember certain receivers for the Pats dropping easy catches too, I suppose that’s Brady’s fault? Talking about ridiculous catches, how about Kearse making another poxy catch to set the Hawks up? Brady was immense that 4th quarter and destroyed one of the best defences of the modern game… Butler stepped up and did his job.
Brady continues to reinvent himself and it sickens his detractors beyond despair.

They won zero Superbowls with multiple tight end sets. Gronkowski and Hernandez has been the only pairing of note, and now Bennett, but obviously now back to single tight end. Gronkowski is a freak, but has been the only tight end option that Belichick has ever really had. So that argument is not really valid.
The patriots have a better percentage record against teams outside their division than in it. There is no doubt the east is not exactly a top division. But is it worse than say the Afc south during the colts dominance?
You can say it was down to Butler winning the last Superbowl, but then why not blame Asante Samuel for dropping an easy interception, or Harrison for not getting a block to Tyrees catch?
There was fuck all difference between Brady and Eli in those Superbowls. The giants were well in the game and got 2 great breaks to win it. Sometimes that happens. To say Eli outplayed him is a huge exaggeration.
Also, Belichick has fuck all to do with the offensive game plan. He is a defensive coach and does fuck all with offense.
