Tom Humphries thread

There is no mention of the word rape in Section 3 of that act

Nor in the 2017 amendment

You canā€™t just make up your own arbitrary definitions of things

And youā€™re not alone in doing that here

I think itā€™s you getting the rise, mate

Control your ardour

Check the DĆ il debates re this legislation.

Statutory rape is a concept which is enshrined in law here under the use of the word ā€œdefilementā€.

Defilement is defilement, mate

And a woman cannot rape a male outside of using an implement because women donā€™t have a penis

Biological facts donā€™t care for your feelings

Iā€™m beginning to think you donā€™t know the difference between statutory rape and rape.

Youā€™re debating with a man who has spent the past 2 days fishing for an argument with strangers about whether he is a paedophile apologist or not. And now he has got what he wants, a real bitter argument about whether heā€™s a paedophile apologist or just sympathiser or pedarist sympathiser or what.

I guess Iā€™m saying that youā€™re in for a long night.

Heā€™s already admitted heā€™s defending a sex offender.

Thatā€™s enough for me.

You canā€™t statutory rape somebody without a penis

Penetration is necessary for rape

There is no offence of statutory rape

There is an offence called defilement

Ah not at all champ.

Iā€™m well versed with his ilk, when presented with facts heā€™ll speak more dung.

I was intrigued to see where he was going but I see he has talked himself around in a circle.

Were he to examine the bill history of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act 2006 all would be revealed.

Not a statute

Itā€™s amazing how lads are now writing their own laws here

:joy::joy::joy:

Statutory rape is defined as sexual contact with an individual who is below the legal age of consent

Unlike you and others, Iā€™ve quoted only facts in this exchange

I donā€™t care about the history of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act 2006

I only care about whatā€™s in the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act 2006 and its 2017 Amendment

The word rape is not mentioned once

It wouldnā€™t surprise me at all if Sidney is Tom Humphries.

Statutory rape has no definition in law, mate

For the purposes of this discussion, it doesnā€™t exist

Iā€™m Roy Curtis

I know.

S3 deals with a sexual act with someone under the age of consent.

Thanks
