Tonight's TV - Continuation of earlier drivel

EastEnders back in the day too

Unless he did a stint in Glenroe or Fair City he’s a nobody.

Ya i figured you were talking about Bren alright

Joe Lycett has a live chat show on Channel 4. It’s absolute carnage. Recorded live in Birmingham. He’s has Clare Sweeney working in his local o corner shop is in the audience, himself and Alan Carr did a brilliant sketch taking the piss out of GBNews and the canal barge his guests were waiting on has become unmoored. That’s just to name a few things. I say the channel 4 solicitors are sweating buckets.

Flicked through channels there and on E4 there was a few lads standing around in the nip. Some ‘race’ where lads have to hike butt naked over multiple days through mountains. An absolutely bizarre concept for a TV show

Sounds a bit like that Naked & Afraid show? People in some random wilderness, doing challenges, in the nip. But a blurred out nip, not the no-holds-barred Naked Attraction kind of nip.

A bit like Survivor, but with people in the nip.

Yeah that was it. Nothing blurred out though. E4 love a bit of full frontal nudity

TOTPs Christmas day special from 1994 on here ATM on BBC4.Some great tunes that year.

I had turkey and all the trimmings yesterday

A minor classic.

“Yes Minister” followed by “The thick of it” on BBC 4.

Very entertaining stuff, for “politics junkies” like RTEs Sarah McInerney.

I believe political anoraks is the phrase you are looking for

Would agree

Sarah needs to do better, than using “politics junkie”

Euronews seems to have a disproportionate level of Irish broadcasters.

Is it due to a particular university course/relationship, our excellent elocution, or something else?

There are a couple on France 24 as well.

They left Ireland for the weather there

Another possibility for Tubridy. His future really is bright.

There are different voiceovers for different languages. Ireland would be fairly high on the list in Europe when it comes to English speakers.

I was happy to view us as being dominant in the European newsreading sector but that does make sense.
