Turns out they built the extension with no planning. Retention granted a few days before the show aired. Question marks around how they accessed the grants without planning in place which is one of key conditions…someone must have signed off on it …
This will be great to see how this spoofer gets out of this one.
The upstairs part was built without planning. The extension was under the 40sqm allowance. They didn’t the get the grants. The builder absorbed the cash flow shortfall in lieu of the grants eventually coming.
