Having female deputies on the pro treaty side of the Dail is yet another error Iāve spotted on this viewing. Making Boland out to be a prick aswell when he was actually very honourable as he lay dying in defending the murderers who shot him down. This thing about Dev practically shooting Collins himself is the worst of all though.
The Dev thing is fucking crazy. I understand that a certain amount of dramatization was inevitable, but a misrepresentation on that scale was very peculiar move on Neil Jordanās part.
The score for the film is quite good though.
