Tony Stokes is the best footballer from Ireland

What a sensational tribute by Hibs to James Connolly by ending their 114 year Scottish Cup drought in the most glorious manner possible in the famous year of '16.

If you google her the 9th picture up is linked to “not quite lovely but better than roughish”. Tfk

You could nearly smell the sulphur in the air at Hampden Park through your screen throughout that match.

Hatred in football is a wonderful thing and it’s sad that it’s all too rare these days.

All the more reason to savour what has just happened.

Captain and winning goalscorer David Gray lifts the trophy for This Year’s Winners.

With Stokes and Rodgers Celtic are going to be unstoppable.

Sunshine on Leith now. Superb.

This is class. He still can barely speak and genuinely appears as if he might break down crying at any moment.

Why don’t any of the Rastoolers on here support Hibs instead of Celtic?

Not extremist enough.

The sour grapes from Sevco is hilarious.

They had a statement out within a half-hour complaining about their players getting assaulted, and did they say they wouldn’t be picking up their runners-up medals over it?

Sevco are seething

look today was great and all that and its class to see these cunts get a defeat like
i think stokesy is an allright sort but before we start calling him ireland’s finest we need to put into perspective today’s competition that was basically like a final of a pub tournament
below i present to you the man who was given the man of the math award for winning the semi final for hibs that was played in a deserted stadium a few weeks ago due to lack of interest, this gloriously overweight chap handnt played in years, was handed a few quid, pints of tennents , saved a few spotters and got them to the “final” against their most illustrious opponents.
Hibs join an illustrious bunch of winners, the now defunct Gretna FC represented the competition in the 2006 UEFA cup where they were beaten over 2 legs by Derry City…
Today’s victors also have an impressive European pedigree, they employed Billy Fenlon to tutor them to a 10-1 or equivilant aggregate loss to a team of swedish fisherman in the 1st qualifying round of the Europa league in 2012 and they themselves are currently playing in a semi pro league… as for today’s opponents, well they were only formed 4 years ago and still managed to progress to play in this “country’s” most exclusive game…
cop on stokesy and grow a pair , if you were serious about football you’d have joined Pats on a free in 2013… this is a joke

Stokesy beat the huns on his own.

He did this to save his Celtic career, a gem of a player.

100% agreed and that’s why i really love Windsor Park, see my comments in some stadium thread
It was really great living in Israel going to watch games, the hatred and passion in the grounds was electric… Beitar / Bnei Saknin in jerusalem is the geatest event i have ever been at, arab saknin fans booing the national anthem and having riot police literally smash their heads in with batons while doing so is unreal… saknin scoring in the last minute of a game and all their players turning east towads AL aqsa kissing the ground, unreal stuff… burning flags in stadiums, barbed wire fences,

the champions league ruined it all, liverpool went to far by murdering all the juve fans in 85. we’d still have mental grounds like the old Van den stock stadium in Anderlect, Feyenoord’s wonderful stadium in Rotterdam and terraces if this didnt happen, we all agree Hillsboro was karma but still, im not a fan of scottish soccer but today’s post game scenes were most refreshing
