the head of glas!
Which in itself is a curious black hole.
They produce 85,000 ducks a week, its pretty impressive nonetheless.
@flattythehurdler if the worm farm doesn’t take off, maybe Ducks are an option
the galway duck: duck from a dive
Place up on fade st I think - can’t remember name
Is it DUCK?
Il Vicolo is very good if you are looking for an italian
Great call. We ate there and it was lovely.
I was there 10 days ago and it was top class. Their charcuteries are outstanding and i had the braised pork neck ragu for mains which was unbelievable
Had the charcuterie with cheese and the seafood risotto. Really enjoyed it.

Review in the Irish Times today as well. 8/10.
Loretta’s on Doyle’s corner in Phibsboro. Very nice. Whole area has gone buck mad for brunch spots in the last while. There’s 4 or 5 within spitting distance. Someone has to keep the Bohs hipsters fed I suppose.

My last visit to Dublin we were wondering around the chapel st area on the Sunday morning. Came across a fairly nondescript entrance to what we thought was a cafe type place and went in for a coffee. Turned out it was Brother Hubbards which is obviously very popular. The place was massive and absolutely jointed with a queue for tables forming as we were seated.
Menu and clientele was very hipstery and it was all brunch type stuff. Beans on toast for €12.
Looks dry and chewy. No juices pouring out of it .
That was €14 but there was plenty of eating in it. Tried to get into a place in chapelizod originally but wait of 20 mins and that would be for a table out in the wind and cold despite it being sunny. Got last table in Loretta’s and queue forming behind me.
We may be hitting our Joe Kennedy shoeshine moment.
Mick Muldoon wants his rashers swimming in grease and salty water. This was shaved ham bro.
I had breakfast there one time on the back of a recommendation from here and it was outstanding, I forget what I had but it was something Middle Eastern with eggs
Looks like a piece of ham bone I gave out to the dog .
Shakshuka?
Turkish Eggs Menemen?
There is another one of them on Harrington St near Wexford St
It’s a great breakfast/brunch spot.
