Ciaran Kilkenny played one hurling match @ inter county level after minor and that was in an under 21 match v Carlow where he failed to puck a ball and Dublin lost.

No, didnā€™t even tog in the hurling championship for his club last year when they had a few matches after the dubs won Sam.

Only saw Ciaran Kilkenny hurl in that minor final and he drove everything wide.

Saw him play a lot as a younger guy,my old man being a Rockies man had us following them all over-( in 4 houses on my grandas ,and his brothers row at ST Michaelā€™s terrace , Blackrock - between my grandad ,the Cashmans,Jimmy Brohan,there were about 40 county medals,Munsters,lash of all Irelands,Cummins not too far away either,plus Cork stars up n down the road,this was when it was a fishing village_ no mahon etc

Honestly, Alan Kerins was an average hurler and a terrible footballer. Mark was a far better hurler.
