Top 3 dual GAA players of all time

He was big boned FFS. Or as Brolly put it, a man with an arse like a bag of cement.

He walked all over them that day.

Browne bumped to Number 1. Didnā€™t know he scored 4-12 in an intercounty hurling match.

Your little story would be lovely only GearĆ³id played Inter County Football for about 3 years, going straight into the team starting at midfield and being Limerickā€™s best player by a mile and actually being a damn good footballer. Ask Gary Brennan who he destroyed on more than one occasion. He left the footballers when called onto the Limerick Senior Panel in 2016

Eh, pal?

Dr.Lucey

Brave move mate, youā€™ll be lambasted for that bit of common sense, :grinning:

Are these supposed to be two unrelated things?

It was a vicious attack on poor GearĆ³idā€™s unparalleled football career, I donā€™t know what I was thinking

Heā€™s the best dual player of all time

He was a fab footballer,vv much man marked - heard that ref man u also ( for trials)

Iā€™d include Donaghy

Liam McHale was probably Irelandā€™s best ever basketball player, and Donaghys equal on the football pitch

Say Donaghys better,my own preference obviously

Good shout.

Niall McGinn
Cillian Sheridan
Niall Morgan

As a basketball player McHale was awesome, the only Irish player who was the equal of most Americans in the Irish game during the glory days of basketball here

Dj Carey has a few handball all Irelands as doubles partner with ducksie Walsh hasnā€™t he.

Do they still play basketball in Oireland? They used to have that fella Tim McCarthy, who was let loose on the Sunday Game one time, saying outrageous things in a niche basketball segment RTƉ would air from time to time, but you never hear him anymore.

Are you unsure whether or not basketball is played in Ireland? It is,

Timmy was a great Irish player himself
