Seamus Callinan was the best forward in the country for almost 4 years.

He was never better than tj Reid.

In 2014/2015/2016 it is a matter of opinion, you could argue either one. Reid was and still is a class act. Callinan was superb in those years.

Best Kilkenny team in my lifetime. Has everything; leaders, skill, steel, winners. Had Dick O’Hara and John Power in there but had to find places for Hickey and Eddie Brennan

Coleman was outstanding from 1988 to 1991. Rabbitte was good but never had MCs influence .

Coleman pretty much won a county title for Abbeyknockmoy on his own when they were hard won in Galway. They beat a damned good Athenry team. Lost to Four Roads the following week I think. Still smokes like a chimney.
