Top 4 Greatest Bogballers of All Time who played with their socks pulled up

His gist was that Dwyer could do it at all, at either end of the field, and was generally the best out there wherever he was put. He was a bloody minded fucker, which wasn’t hard to believe really.

Canavan was the best I’ve seen though touching the ball on the ground in the last play of the 95 final counts as a black mark against him for sheer stupidity.

You need the lust for blood to take the ultimate step - it’s the quantifying differential.
Some proponents have been mentioned. Then look at Mayo.

There’s the difference between winners and grand lads.

I’d say Padraic Joyce in fairness

You’re a bad bad man.

Mayo have had a few stone cold killers in their day, the problem is that you have a few fellas like Vaughan and Hennelly then. Those are the sort of fellas who get shot by “friendly fire” in wars.

I don’t believe that ball was actually on the ground though

Gooch in his prime was the best. Alot of midfielders are the same today. Big awkward cunts with no skill. Tomás ó sé is another to mention. Has been marking the best of them for so long. Brogan then for the big stage. But don’t think he ever scored a goal outside Croke Park. If kerry had to play every game in Killarney what fun would it be.

Gooch went missing too many times when the chips were down to be considered really. He was very talented but mentally weak.

I know. He was also a class act.

I’m sorry he couldn’t keep winning every final for ya

No he could only really win the ones against Cork and Mayo when they turned up like rabbits in the headlights.

I’m very disappointed, I was hoping that it would descend into a tedious debate over U.S. politics.

The Terrible Twins & Mick O’Connell are the 3 greatest that I’ve seen live.

I haven’t been to a match in over 30 years though

Can’t believe lads are debating Greatest Bogballer of all time when basketball players have won POTY awards at it.

Had a good record from play in the Tyrone Finals didn’t he?

Considering the various tyrone stunts I’d say he did alright

Went missing when it mattered, got outscored by Ricey when he man marked him in 03 as well.

3 points in 05 from play, can’t see what he got from play in 08 but think it was similar from recollection. That’s excellent against that Tyrone team
